About James Sweet

 

Yo! I am from the surf town of Bude in Cornwall. A surfer, skater and snowboarder, I’m all about having as much fun as possible, and helping pass the stoke on to others. Having spent 10 winters living in Chamonix, I now live in Tignes, making the most of the natural playground around me and the looping the snowparks when waiting for the snow.

I really like to coach snowboarding with a simple, relaxed and focused approach. I have helped people go from doing their first turns to getting podium results and sponsorship offers. I love to coach all people and all levels, I find it so fun getting in tune with someones learning and helping to fast-forward their progression.

As well as working at snowboard schools, I have also worked with the Royal Navy snowboard team, helping them to bring home gold medals at their inter service events, three years back to back! I also help out on various snowcamps, such as the Animal Snowcamp and have helped many younger riders break into the scene. Recently we started SuperRad, a new kind of snowboard camp, but thats a different story......
